Painted MDF facades
Painted MDF facades are an assortment of façades different in variety of modes and great number of colors.
Italian polyurethane furniture paints SAYERLACK , MILESI SPA and Finnish TIKKURILA are used as a covering during production. Subjected to any processing material MDF serves as a basis. With the help paint sprayers special pinhole fillers and first coats are put on it, then it is grinded and covered with a layer of glossy or matte paint. The final stage is varnishing and polishing.
All MDF facades possess essential advantages:
- wide choice of color shades (under catalogues RAL, TIKKURILA, NCS, WCP),
- they are steady against the high temperature and humidity (are not afraid even of hot steam),
- they do not absorb smells and moisture,
- MDF plates possess firmness to various fungi and microorganisms what makes products from MDF hygienic and safe in life,
- plate MDF does not crumble and is perfectly subjected to relief processing,
- facades are steady against detergents and direct sunbeams (do not burn out),
- they are inexpensive and durable,
- in terms of their mechanical characteristics MDF surpass particle boards as well as natural tree.
MDF facades are painted with various techniques which create visual and structural effects such as:
- Semimatte surface – standard base semimatte painting.
- Varnished BS surface – the semimatte surface is varnished with spangles.
- Metallic – a special paint with metal microparticles.
- Crackle lacquer – the effect of ageing with cracked painted surface, thus one color is looked through cracks of a basic covering of other color. The size of cracks on one product can vary as process of cracking is not subjected to full control. Crackle lacquer looks most effectively on framed details.
- Greening – effect of «noble and natural» ageing with attritions. Greening liquid is put on the various milled sites of doors and is rubbed clean. Greening gives rough painting to a surface. Sometimes gold or silver greening is not rubbed clean and left to lay with equal layer what gives a product a rich look.
- Gloss can be not polished or polished (high luster). Polishing gives color depth, makes a glossy surface more smooth and mirror like. But not all the models of MDF facades are subjected to polishing. High luster is put on a face sheet of products by default, the reverse surface is semimatte.
- Colored MDF facades can be framed with a panel, milled and smooth straight.
